What is 'Private Life'?
Inspired by an actual hate crime, 'Private Life' is a story about a broken person, who is scared and trying to hide from the world. He ultimately learns that only by opening up and making himself vulnerable to another person can he can truly begin to heal.
Why We're Asking for your Support:We are fortunate to be students at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. Yet, even with the incredible resources available to us through the school, creating a film of this scope is still a massive undertaking.
Renting cameras, lighting and sound equipment; paying for locations (and this film has a ton!); obtaining additional insurance; and feeding our talented and gracious volunteer cast and crew are just a few examples of the daunting costs ahead of us. Simply put, making a movie is expensive. Your generous support will help see this film through production as we film in and around the Los Angeles area.
We believe this will be a special film; a story that needs to be told. Greg is a talented and passionate filmmaker who is eager to bring these characters to life. But we can't do it without your help! We really do know how tight times are and ANY support you can offer is truly, truly appreciated. Please take a look at our list of perks to the right. We had fun with them and hope you enjoy them. Please consider making a donation to help this film become a reality.
