We’re beyond excited about POSITIVELY SPEAKING! So much so, that we even dusted off our very rusty acting chops to make a campaign video with a little fun and a whole lotta heart. We hope you enjoyed it. 

As seasoned veterans of all kinds of production – some purposeful, some not so much - it’s utterly fulfilling to truly know that we are in alignment with our souls’ purpose: contributing to the expansion of consciousness toward a more loving, caring and connected paradigm, by bringing this 12-episode series to the world. 

In any collaborative effort, you’re only as good as the people with whom you surround yourself. Having said that, though you met him and felt him in the video, we’d like to say a few words about our amazing, courageous, inspiring and empowering host and co-producer, Bill Poett. Bill is an accomplished author, teacher, speaker, radio show host and founder of The Warrior Heart Project - one of the most expanded humanitarian efforts impacting the planet at this time. In POSITIVELY SPEAKING you’ll get a fly-on-the-wall view as Bill has a dozen, intimate conversations with all kinds of heroes - every day and celebrity - those passionate, determined, warrior-heart men and women committed to making a positive difference in their lives and the lives of others. We’ll witness their life-changing, soul-driven stories as only Bill can get them to reveal. But to make POSITIVELY SPEAKING a reality we definitely need your help. 

To produce and deliver this powerful, uplifting, timely web series to a worldwide audience, our funding goal is $35,000 in 45 days. This money will cover all of our production costs – equipment & materials rentals and purchases, crew & location fees, as well as meals and transportation - to shoot, edit and deliver 12-thirty minute episodes.‡

That breaks down to less than $3,000 per show, a bargain by any production standard. But don’t confuse inexpensive with cheap. We have years of experience making productions on a beer budget look like champagne.*  This show will boast very high production values. 

And think about it this way – being a co-creator of POSITIVELY SPEAKING is one of the finest holiday gifts you could give to yourself, your loved ones and the universe for that matter. 

Our promise to you is to have all 12 episodes completed and viewable in the early part of 2013. Happy, positive new year indeed! And for all contributors, not only will you have our undying gratitude, but we have some pretty nice rewards for you, too. 

This isn’t just a crowd-funded project, it’s a crowd-produced project. This is your dialogue, folks. These will be your beliefs and your solutions as expressed through the experiences and stories of people who are contributing a positive, loving energy to humanity through acts of courage, humility and integrity.

BETH DOLAN & LUIS REMESAR

Beth and Luis have been writers, directors, producers and editors in the film and television industry for twenty years. Heading up Coyote Pass Productions, this creative and life partnership has done everything from soup to nuts in production. Whether a commercial, infomercial, public service announcement, documentary or animated television series, they treat every project like a special sculpture – always striving, from concept through delivery, to chisel out the heart and story of a piece with artistic and technical excellence. They’ve been honored by the City of Los Angeles, as part of the Latino Film and Video Festival, for their positive contribution and depiction of the Latino image in the media. In addition, they have received an ACE Award of Merit for their long-running public service announcement, “Nobody Likes To Kiss An Ashtray” for the American Lung Association as part of ALA’s anti-smoking campaign geared toward teens. Their critically acclaimed feature-length documentary on Cuba “Regreso” was an audience favorite at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival where it had its world premiere. Since then, this film has screened worldwide and been honored numerous times for both artistic and educational merit. Beth and Luis are members of the Writers Guild of America.  Several of their screenplays have received awards through the Guild’s diversity program, and they were the writing staff for the Eagle-Award winning situation comedy “Los Beltran” for Sony/Telemundo.

 

BILL POETT

Bill is the author of ABC’s for Peak Performers, the soon to be released Live And Love Fearlessly, The Way of the Warrior Heart and creator and founder of The Warrior Heart Project. Since 1988, he has studied, taught, and trained with military, law enforcement, and corporate performance experts throughout the United States and Asia. Bill holds eleven martial arts degrees and is a knife fighting close combat instructor with more than 20 years of experience working with individuals and teams for whom peak performance is literally a matter of life and death. He studies and embeds many of the same mental and awareness techniques used in successful combat training in the material he presents for successful LIFE training, adding a proven layer of depth and interest to his presentations. Bill’s greatest joys in life are his wife Robin, and three amazing daughters, Miranda, Kayla, and Becca. As an adventurer, sports fitness specialist, licensed pilot, skydiver, and ultra-light backpacker, Bill lives by the creed that life is not a spectator sport. Bill lives, writes, and conducts workshops in Rancho San Julian, the last family-owned and operating Spanish land grant ranch in California. Deeded to his great-great-great Grandfather Don Jose de la Guerra, the ranch is where the family raises grass-fed beef on over 15,000 acres of land just north of Santa Barbara.
