My close friend Jessica Lehrman recently got all of her photography equipment stolen while home for the holidays in Los Angeles. A true cultural taste-maker, Jessica's photographs have appeared in Rolling Stone, Spin, Gothamist, Vice, and The Source, among others. She spearheaded the documentation of the Occupy Wall Street movement, and continues her cultural observations in New York City by voraciously immersing herself in the underground hip-hop scene. A visionary in the world of photojournalism, her recent work has engulfed not only niche, music-driven demographics of New York, but the city as a whole, garnering her praise and friendships from all walks of life. I have started this campaign to raise at least $10,000 with the hope to simply get Jessica back to where she belongs: with a camera in her hands. Thank you!
