Summary
Balls Deep Productions (BDP) was created in 2006 as a satire of the current profesional kayaking community. As of late BDP has been recieving massive media attention reaching audiences around the world through exposure from Bomb Flow and garnishing attention from industry leaders and athletes. Our team currently boasts top teir athletes such as Tyler Bradt, BDP Fanboy Rush Sturges (who aspires to some day make the team), Evan Garcia, editing/filming powerhouse Fred Norquist as well as up and coming talent Erik Johnson, The Brothers Wells, Eric Parker, Sam Freihoffer, Davis Gove and William "Griff" "Jamboy" Griffith. BDP athletes have been notching out top finishing times in recent Xtreme Races with Evan Garcia and Isaac Levnison's team placing 1st in the Little White Salmon Race and Erik Johnson's team earning a respectable 5th place out of over 25 teams. Multiple BDP athletes were featured in the latest issue of Kayak Session hucking the amazing waterfalls of the Pacific Northwest. Along with the many other accomplishments BDP has managed to achieve, they also pioneered the new kayak lingo that has been sweaping the world wide kayak community with the use of "CHURCH". "Church" has become a go to praise when exauliting the great rivers of Jah that nourish our lives and passion as well as being featured in at least one top industry leader's advertisement.
With the rising popularity of BDP's blog and positive attention of it's uniquelly niched style of some what raw media and exposure, what better time then now to begin the creation of a feature length film. This film has been something that we always hoped to create yet never had the resources.
Where Will Your Money Go?
With a little help from you, the contirbutor, BDP could be well on their way towards creating the best kayak film of all time. The majority of the kayaking shots will hopefully be filmed with the Cineflex Camera System which allows for the highest quality of film in some of the most difficult locations.
Donations recieved after the majority of filming has been completed will go towards the planning of BDP Fest which will feature the premiere of Pleasure Strokes. Donations will be alotted mainly towards securing an massive inflatable projector screen, kegs of beer and any needed permits.
