My Story:
Hello everyone !
I'm a Sandbox ambassador from Accra, Ghana. Also a Social "Tech-preneur" who believes in TED's "Ideas Worth Sharing" initiatives. Been an ambassador coming from a diversified cultural background and languages, I have developed interest and passion in African Start-ups, Technology, Social Innovations and Digital Literacy with a special focus on the Sub-Sahara Africa region.
Communicating with diverse audiences is my forte. As a digital activist and a blogger, I work and volunteer with groups as varied as the Global Voices Online, Kuyu Digital Project, Ghana Blogging Group, Ghana Developers Group and Hack Hackers Project.
I'm currently raising funds to attend SandBox Network's first Sandbox Global Summit 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal. While at this summit, I shall be representing the Ghanaian & African community, networking and connecting with other innovators from around the world, sharing ideas on various innovative issues.
My attendance to this summit is seen as a valuable addition bringing a unique regional perspective to an eclectic mix of young achievers and innovators at the Summit. As a social entrepreneur, I have no funds to travel and bear expenses for this summit, which is why I would need your invaluable support!
The impact, lessons and connections that will be made at the Global Summit will be exceptional. I run a community blog: Accra Conscious which focuses on educating the average Ghanaian and visiting tourists about the Social, Entertaining and Technology focused events and innovations happening in the city of Accra.
My passion for technological advancement is focused on introducing ICT and Knowledge sharinng to all through organizing Bar-camp events all over Ghana. My participating in this summit will accord me the opportunity to meet with other global Sandbox members, connecting and networking with experienced entrepreneurs who that bold decision by quitting jobs to starting an innovative start-up.
Another impact this Summit will have on me will be sealing the bond amongst my fellow Sandbox Network Ambassadors whom we've been communicating both offline and on-line.

Funds allocation :
Travel: Round trip Ticket (cheapest fare) ACC-LIS-ACC and Visa Fee - $ 1500 + $ 200
Sandbox Global Summit Ticket - $ 400
Stay & Miscellaneous expenses - $ 300
Taxes, Exchange rate & Campaign charges - $ 100
Total amount for the Summit: $ 2,500
Please Note: All cost associated with Food, Drinks, Transport and Entertainment are coming out of pocket.
