This picture was taken less than 24 hours ago at his favourite park where our beloved 5 year old husky Suka was happy, fit and full of energy. Without trauma, impact or any foreseeable reason he has lost feeling and control of his hind legs. We have been to several vets who believe it to be either FCE (a blood clot within the spinal cord) or a herniated disc in need of repair. We are on the road right now heading to a Neurological specialist who will provide us with an MRI or CT scan and potentially surgery. If you have a dog hug him or her and hold on tight. We're learning that every moment is precious. Please help and pass this link along to the dog lovers in your families. We plan on doing everything we can to save our little man and get him back up and running a way a husky should. All monies raised will go to paying what will likely be a $10,000 bill. If Suka doesn't make it through this ordeal or we exceed what we need to help we will pass all donations onto a university studying canine spinal injuries.
