Pirate Goblins Box Set

UPDATE 15 (Octobre 31th, 2012) : The miniatures did leave the UK yesterday and should arrive here soon, I do expect them to be here in France by the beginning of next week.

I did add to the gallery 2 concept arts for the forcoming dwarfs, don't hesitate to comment them.

UPDATE 13 : the countdown has reached zero and the pre-order campaign is now closed !

I do want to thank you all for your support, for propagating the word, and for pre-ordering the miniatures !

So now what will happens ?

I will send you alll by e-mail a survey asking you to give me the details on what your pledge consists of. The survey will be sent very soon so that you can fill it quickly, the sooner I'll get your answers, the sooner I'l be able to order the good quantities of miniatures, dice, etc.

Look at your mailbox to see if you do receive the e-mail. I'l post an update here to inform of the sending of the survey.

I will continue to update this page and to use the updates system to keep you informed of what happens ! Don't hesitate to come back frequently if you need some news !

UPDATE 12 : The $5000 stretch goal has been reached ! So there will be goblin dice for everyone, scenic resin bases and card box for the miniatures !

UPDATE 8 : based on popular demand the set of dice if now available as a separate purchase for all existing funders. the dice will be green with a pirate goblin head replacing the "1" side. I'm finishing the mockup and will post it today or tommorow on this page.

If you want a set of 6 dice just add $10 to your perk (there is no need to cancel the existing one, just add $10 and it will be fine). The set will be sent with the miniatures post free worldwide !

For those who want more than 6 miniatures you can also choose to add more miniatures to your perk, any funder from the $30 level can add 1 miniature by adding $4 to his order, and of course you can do it as much as you want (you'll be able to choose individually which ones you want at the end of the campaign).

In the same vein if you change your mind and want more miniatures you can adjust your pledge at any time (for example if you opted for 1 set à $30 and finally decide that 2 sets would be better you just have to send the difference, that is $20 and tell me so in the survey at the end of the campaign).

I will send a survey at the end of the campaign so that you can detail what you exactly want based on the amount spent.

There are more stuff in the work but it seems that the summer heat makes all things longer than usual to be done !

UPDATE 7 : I will propose by the end of the week some new stuff you could add to your pre-order, the dice set being the first one. There should be some new miniatures too, I'm waiting for confirmation so stay tuned to learn more !

I was hoping to be able to show you today some design art for the packaging but I'm still waiting after the artist.

UPDATE 5 : I did start this funding campaign 2 weeks ago and we hare now half way of the funding of the project, I would like to thank you all for your support !

The response to these miniatures has been very positive but I still need you to propagate the campaign and to make some buzz for the project. Keep up the good work you're already doing !

The greens are now based and are leaving Kev Adams workshop to go to the caster to have the master mould ready.

I have been playing with Excel these last days to see if I could do some changes to the levels of funding necessary to offer the 6th figure and could now announce you that if we manage to go to the firts goal ($2500) everybody from the gunner level perk ($30) will receive the 6 figure set !

Yes you read it well, if we manage to go to the first goal I'll add for free the pirate goblin captain to every complete set !

UPDATE 4 : the set is now complete with the 6 goblins finished, they will now have to be based and go to the caster !

UPDATE 3 : the fourth crew member is done, we did adjust the second one by turning his head in the direction of his gun and added a crow on his shoulder.

I'm launching a new range of miniatures, they are all unique fantasy miniatures with an Old School appeal.

I decided to launch this range by giving miniatures fans everywhere the opportunity to have access to some rather new miniatures, with original designs made by great and renowned sculptors.

The first box set will be a 5 miniatures set featuring 5 pirate goblins designed by Kev "goblinMeister" Adams (who else could do old school goblins better than him).

I already commissioned Kev "goblinMeister" Adams to work on the greens of the miniatures. The work has already begun and you will see here some pictures of the first ones as soon as they are made.

Here is a Work in Progress of the first one that will be in the box set :

The next step, when Kev will have finished the 5 miniatures wiil be to have a master mould and production moulds made to have the miniatures cast in pewter. The slot for having the moulds made are reserved so I'm sure that the deadline (end of october) is the real one.

The funds collected are to cover design and production costs, and to offer you, the possibility to have these nice miniatures in exclusivity and at a reduced price.

Even If I dont collect enough money to cover all the costs the miniatures wiil be produced and the funders will receive their miniatures in small plastic bags (no card box). The only drawback will be that it will take me more time to expand the range as I'll have to have collected enough money to commission some more scuplts.

All orders are expected to be shipped by the end of october 1012.

Here are the main goals for this project.

If I manage to receive enough support (the $2,500 goal) then the project will be successfull and I will begin working on some new miniatures to expand the range further. Pirate dwarfs being the next ones.

As this is the minimum for me to cover all the costs of the operation when we will attain this goal I will add a free miniature with each complete set.

At this level of funding each complete set (perk of $30 or more) will have the goblin captain miniature included at no additional cost !

If I manage to collect $5,000 then each miniature will be provided with a round 25mm resin scenic base instead of a bland plastic slotta base. This will apply to all perks containing miniatures, even the random one. All complete sets will then be in a collectable card box with exclusive art.

From this point the box set wil include your name (or nickname) as a supporter and will be signed by me.

I'll add to this a set of 6 exclusive green 6 sided dice with a pirate goblin head on one side (design to come) !

To be successful this campaign need to be relayed in many places. For this to happen I'm counting on you to help spread the word around you.

Even if you don't have any direct interest in these miniatures, or if you cannot afford to support the effort financially, It will be greatly appreciated that you spread the word around (on your blogs, on forums, everywhere you may see fit, but please no spam) !
