"It takes a village to raise a child."
As many of you know, Paul Damphier was taken from his family and friends before his time. The community of Amsterdam is deeply effected by his passing, as he was a young man who had an immeasurable regard for those he encountered. His life was forcibly ended and it is a terrible tragedy.
While Pauly had an abundance of family and friends who cared very much for him, they do not have an abundance of funds to give him a proper burial. At the very least, Pauly deserves this one thing. While no parent should have to bury a child, they should also not have the unfortunate circumstance to be unable to lay their child to rest peacefully.
As the quote says above - it takes a village to raise a child - we ask that the community please come together and help us raise funds so Pauly's family can give him the memorial he deserves. Any and all donations would be appreciated and welcomed. Pauly, like his friend Jonathon, deserves to rest in peace.
