Greetings Oroecoers,

We’ve just made it extra easy to invite your friends to start using Oroeco’s private beta!

For those of you who contributed $15 or more on Indiegogo you can now log into your Oroeco account and invite up to 2 friends by doing ANY of the following:

1) Go to Account > Refer a Friend; OR

2) Go to Account > Dashboard > Impacts, then click on the “Refer a Friend” link in the box to the upper right; OR

3) Go to Account > Dashboard > Community, then click on the “Refer a Friend” link in the box to the upper right; OR

4) Sign into Oroeco, then navigate directly to oroeco.com/referfriends

For those of you who already sent us 2 friends you’d like to invite, we’ve already added those friends’ email addresses to our beta tester while list, so your friends just need to use that email to sign up via oroeco.com (and they should’ve received an email with instructions for doing so).

If you want to be able to compare and compete with your friends make sure that 1) you’re all Facebook friends, and 2) you all log into Oroeco through Facebook at least once. You can also stop and start sharing your impact data with your friends at any time by going to Account > Settings.

For those of you who contributed on Indiegogo but haven’t yet created an Oroeco account, it takes less than a minute and it’s not too late! Just go to oroeco.com and click on Sign Up (link at upper right), then sign up using the same email address you use for Indiegogo. Then sign in through Facebook to add the ability to compare and compete with your friends.

If you’re having any problems with any of the above, or anything else in the realm of Oroeco, just shoot us an email to help@oroeco.com and we’ll fix whatever needs fixing.

Thanks again to you and your friends for all the support, and keep sending us feedback for how we can make your Oroeco experience as awesome as can be!

Dear Indiegogo supporters,

A couple weeks ago, we sent out your invitations to be some of the first people in the history of the universe to take Oroeco for a test drive. If you missed the email, or just want a refresher, here are the steps for creating your private beta Oroeco account:

I) Create a Mint Account (if you’re already a Mint.com user, skip to II)

If you don’t already have one, you’ll need a free account with Mint.com to use the first version of Oroeco. Just go to Mint.com and click “Sign Up”.

II) Create an Oroeco Account

1) Go to oroeco.com and click “Sign Up”;

2) You’ll need to sign up with the same email address you gave to Indiegogo, since this is the email address we’ve added to our private beta guest list. If this email address is also linked to your Facebook account you can opt to login through Facebook instead;

3) Start playing around! As you poke and prod Oroeco, please send all your thoughts, comments, trials, tribulations, and ideas for improvement through our Feedback page. You can also send any/all of the above to feedback@oroeco.com.

III) Invite Two Friends to Oroeco

Everyone who pledged $15 or more on Indiegogo also has the option to invite up to two friends to join in the Oroeco beta fun. To add your friends to our beta guest list and start some friendly carbon competition, just send your two friends’ names and emails to info@oroeco.com. We’re making sure everything works smoothly with our first batch of beta tester (including you!), but we’ll add your friends as soon as we can.

Thanks again for all your support, and we are quite excited to get feedback from you and your friends!

First off, TREMENDOUS thanks to all of you who contributed, spread the word, and helped us surpass our $15k goal!!!

We really couldn’t have done it without all of your support. We’re enormously grateful for all of you who pitched in, and also excited to get your eyes and feedback on Oroeco’s beta app!

We promise to stop clogging your inboxes now, so the next message you receive from us will include instructions for how to set up your Oroeco beta account (and invite others, for those of you doing so). So keep an eye out for an Oroeco welcome email in the next few weeks. If you don’t see one, shoot us a quick note to info@oroeco.com to make sure we didn’t somehow miss you.

As always, you can also keep up with us via oroeco.com, blog.oroeco.com, facebook.com/oroeco, and twitter.com/oroeco.

Thanks again and we’ll send more soon!

Last chance to sign up for Oroeco’s beta launch!

Our Indiegogo campaign is now measured in hours instead of days. Signing up all your green family and friends as Oroeco beta testers is the best (and only) way to give us feedback that shapes our app to fit your specific dreams and desires. So please keep spreading the word about Oroeco’s campaign via Twitter, Facebook, Google+, links, blogs and good ol’ fashion conversation as much as possible!!!

Also, if you still haven’t done so (or even if you have), it’s awesome if you can help us climb the Indiegogo viewing rankings by visiting this link and leaving us a positive comment here: http://www.indiegogo.com/oroeco/x/1640458?c=com...

Thanks again for all your support, and we promise to help make your New Year the greenest yet!

Happy final days of 2012!

We’re also in the final days of Oroeco’s Indiegogo campaign, and an exciting and sustainable New Year is ahead. But we still really need your help to reach our goal, so please spread the word about Oroeco to all your social networks!

Oroeco’s beta is looking better by the day, and I’m excited to announce we just added two stellar student software developers to the team: Kamyar from UC Berkeley and Viksit from MIT. We’re developing up a storm, and excited to share the fruits of our coding labors with you soon.

We also keep popping up in the media, most recently with an op-ed in Huffington Post. Check out http://www.oroeco.com/press for a list of links (or just search Oroeco in Google News, as new stories seem to be coming out every day).

Excited for the New Year and a new era of informed consumption!
