Open Source Death Star

We need to protect our planet from threats far far away so lets build a death star

In November 2012 the people  asked for a death star. But the government said NO!

In light of continuing threats we should build it ourselves.

Goal

$80,000,000 for more detailed plans and enough force engines to protect reactor exhaust ports.

Long Term Goal

$442,505,317,000,000) to secure full funding for the actual construction.

Open Source

To keep costs lower the entire project will use open source hardware and software.

Where will the money be spent

The project will be built with environmentally friendly materials, use only open source software, and will be run on linux.

The OS for the droids will be Android. Oh and we are looking for a few programmers to hire, about 75 000 will do for a start.

Risks and Challenges

The only risk is the power of the Force.

The main challenge is assuring Indiegogo that this is a joke and not a serious project.
