ONE YEAR OF LIFE

Veronica Yllades is a 54 year old woman, who is very passionate about life, loves her work and her biggest passion are her grandchildren. She is the grandmother of two; one is three years old and the other one is barely one year old. Unfortunately, she is now having the biggest problem of her life.

Due to severe headaches, she decided to put herself through several medical studies, only to be diagnosed with three cancerous tumors, which are affecting almost her entire brain. According to experts in the field, she has about one year left, if she submits herself to radiotherapy in her head.

Please help Veronica to have a better life and to stop those horrific headaches that she suffers from.

We are not asking you to save her, but to help her live her last days on Earth happily and without pain. Some of her medical treatments have already been paid for, but we have run out of money to continue paying for her treatment.

We have tried everything! To qualify for Medicare you need to be over 65 years of age and she is not eligible for Medicaid, as all of the family members who depended of her, are now adults and the County of Hidalgo is only making the process longer and not helping us solve anything. We are looking to collect $33,300 in order to pay for her radiotherapies and pain killer medicines.

We know that donating money to someone who is hopeless might be difficult, but this is almost like donating your money to a child who has been diagnosed with cancer, as Veronica’s grandchildren will surely enjoy their time with their grandmother a lot.  We all deserve to have a better life, no matter how short or how long we still have to live.

Veronica’s only wish is to spend more time with her grandchildren and to get to know them better. We really do not want to see her lose her memory or sight and this is why we are asking you to help us get her through her last radiotherapies, as these can help to increase Veronica’s life expectancy.

You really have no idea of the horrific headaches that Veronica suffers from and we know how much she suffers, as most of the time, tears come out of her eyes. Please touch your heart and help us to make her pain go away. We are really having trouble finding funds to help her, as almost nobody is willing to donate some of their money to a 50 year old person who is dying. We are all the same in God’s eyes and anyone who is suffering like Veronica is deserves a little help and support.
