One Dollar Dare

Hi, I'm Jacques.

I want to be in Europe for La Tomatina and Oktoberfest!

If you’re stuck in an office but wish you were there, you can be part of it by helping me get there.

You get to dare me to do anything while I'm in Europe. When you are safe at home, you can watch me put my reputation and body on the line, all for the sake of a good time.

The specifics are up to you, I've just set some guidelines on how much you need to buy my dignity. Also, Indiegogo and Facebook are public forums, so I cannot *publicly* accept any dare that is offensive, illegal or sexual.

My Promise

For every dare that is proposed and every Wildcard that is selected, I will give it my best shot and record in photos and/or videos and upload them to http://www.facebook.com/onedollardare.

Either your dare will be fulfilled as best I possibly can achieve it, or there will be one spectacular failure, caught on camera for the world to see.

The Dares and The Dollars

If you guys are awesome enough to help me make the target of $5,000 then you’ll be able to see all the dares that can be done in Spain, as fast as I can Facebook them.

At the moment the only part of my schedule that is locked in is the "Spanish Bar-Mada" for Thirsty Swagman, from the 25th August in Barcelona to the 3rd September in Ibiza.

If you guys are super-awesome and contribute $10,000 then you can dare me to do anything in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic as well. I’ll be in Munich for Oktoberfest and carrying through to Maria Alm, Prague, Bamberg and Düsseldorf.

From here the adventure gets even better – to make me to take a detour and do something wacky between Spain and Germany then keep spreading the word and help raise $15,000. If the campaign gets this far, then you’ll be able to make me do dares in France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy.

 $20,000 will open up the whole of Europe to be your playground with me as your puppet. That’s everywhere from Iceland to Portugal and Finland to Turkey.

Anything over $20,000 will be sent to a charity picked by your votes.

Who am I and what's all this about Thirsty Swagman?

For my 21st birthday, I was lucky enough to be at Oktoberfest for the first Thirsty Swagman Euro Hard'n'Fast tour. Since then I've travelled with them through Asia and now they're starting a tour in Spain.

This year I'm reaching my quarter century and felt compelled to be a part of the adventure. I've gotten older and so has the internet, so instead of just having a blog, I thought I'd share the adventure with the world in a way that lets you have a bit for yourself.
