I will have this discussion internally again about the EARLY BIRD backers. Please do not forget that you still get a 2 year warranty ($100 value) and free shipping if you are inside the US. So there is still a huge benefit for early backers. Also, you now get a ONE with 1TB for $399, so it is another $100 discount.
Regarding the “ugrade fee” for backers who got a discount: It is not always $50. It is $20 if you came in at the $379 level, or $25 if you got a $25 discount. It is simply the difference to the original price.
