Official Music Video for Cassino - Kingprince

Our Story

Illusive Media is a leading media, marketing and online entertainment company. The multi-hybrid company, which began in 2004 and has quickly been built into one of the most successful producers of original content and marketing initiatives on the web, has also helped orchestrate campaigns for Fortune 500 companies including Pepsi, MTV, Sony as well as producing some of the most viewed music videos of all time from artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Mansions on the Moon, Pharrell Williams and Mae.

The Impact

We are collaborating with one of our favorite bands of the past five years, Cassino, on an official music video for the song "Kingprince" which is the titular track from their last album. The concept for the video is simple: we want to tell a story of a Mexican migrant worker, visually laying out a day-in-the-life storyline from sunrise to sunset. The reason behind our pitch is based on our understanding of the song. Thematically, "Kingprince" is about struggle and musically evokes a sort of Americana and nostalgic feeling. In a day and age where what it means to be American is constantly being debated, we want to jump in on the conversation through storytelling and showing that even those who some do not consider being American are just as "American" as the rest of us. The video will also be accompanied by some shots of the band performing. 

What We Need & What You Get

This fundraising campaign will be able to compensate our entire production crew for travel from Virginia Beach to Nashville, where the band is located. We have also included a modest day rate of $20/her per crewmember to make it worth their while, and in the $3000 we have made sure to take out a reasonable rate for the Mexican migrant worker we will be following and for their family, at $300. This is the least we could do for the star of the video.

What you guys get will depend on how much you can donate to the cause. If you can donate $10 or more, you will get a free digital download of the song for the video plus a thank you email from the band. If you donate $20 or more, you get the digital download of the song plus a download of the music video before it releases to the public. Our last video for the band We Are Trees was picked up by MTV days after we debuted it online, so you never know where this one could end up. If you can donate $50 or more you get the email, digital downloads and two Cassino T-Shirts (signed if requested). If you donate $100 or more you get the above plus we will ship you the DVD of the official music video. If you can donate $500 or more, you will get the aforementioned rewards plus an Executive Producer credit on the music video.
