What is No Shave November?
For the month of November, students will stop shaving and fundraise among friends and family to support Challenge for Charity (C4C), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that draws on the talents of MBAs from nine West Coast business schools to support local charities and develop business leaders with a lifelong commitment to community involvement and social responsibility. On the final day of the month, the rights to be shaved are auctioned and the highest bidder chooses how to shave the subject, while donating all of the funds to C4C.
The Gold Cohort at Haas is pumped about raising money to support Special Olympics and the Alameda Point Collaborative. Our goal is to raise $3,000 through No Shave November.
With your help, we can reach our goal. We have already started growing out some spectacular canvases to be auctioned off at the end of the month. Vietlong "Fu Manchu" Le is growing a spectacular beard, Seth "Mutton Chops" Engel is offering up his chest and back hair, and Austin "Only Charity Explains that Beard" is allowing a lucky auction winner to shave his legs.
Help us support our community by donating today!
