Modern Widows Club Magazine is the first ever magazine advocating for widow causes. Women living, growing & reaching back as widow mentors & advocates of the world. Our time, our voice.
Be kind to ONE widow today: That's our mission is to guide, develop and promote extraordinary widow mentors and advocates globally to create one powerful voice for all.
Our goal is to move forward with our MWC following on Facebook/Twitter and bring together widow experts into one viral platform, the MWC magazine. Your contributions will assist us in finding the 11.4 million widows in the US and start by creating 20 formal MWC chapters in the US by the end of 2013 and grow from there.
History: We began in January 2012 with 3 women in Orlando and now have 4 national chapters in Orlando, Kansas City, Denver & Seattle.
Until we receive our 501(c)3 non-profit status (in process), the magazine will give us the ability to bring current information immediately to those who need it renew their life after life altering circumstances. How? By inspiring them with those who have walked before them. We will cover wellbeing/ health, legal/ financial, spirit/ faith, living spaces, family, world wide widows, interviews (celebrities, thought leaders, professors, authors, speakers), stories, opinions (dating widows, bitter widows, widow comedians, daughters w/o fathers, widowers) and reviews (books, movies, art, music).
Our contributors have modern, relevant, purposeful, fresh, edgy and contemplative viewpoints which share the widow experience with connected, open conversations to modernize the perception of the widow journey. A positive from a negative. This is a launching pad to something truly extraordinary for our lives. Widows have so much to give society and yet they feel completely isolated many times. It doesn't have to be this way.

Other Ways You Can Help:
Be kind to one widow today. Bring a smile to her face and make your time with her matter like she's the only person in the world. Listen, hold a hand, drop off meals, pray daily, do something even when it feels odd or uncertain. Handymen ask to repair something. Hire her, she may need a job. Teach her a new skill. Share MWC. Mentor her children and give her a day off. Please, make some noise about us, widows already feel like no one hears them or sees them. We want to be that squeaky wheel of empowerment for widows.
Thank you so much for caring and choosing to grace us with your contribution. The widows of the world are very grateful and rarely ask for themselves. We hope every one will feel their voice is heard and valued. We all want a hand up, not a hand out. Join our movement :)
Blessings to you,
Carolyn Moor, MWC Founder and Friend
*Revenue from Magazine will be be provided on multi levels once up and running, we simply need to get it launched and begin this movement.
