Hello MeterPlug backers. We have an update:

MeterPlug needs to pass UL Certification before production. In January we submitted samples to UL certification Lab, and they have recommended some changes be made. We then modified the internal design and injection mold. After that, submitted the changes. UL Test Lab came back a second time with further internal change requests. We have improved the plastic and metal materials of the MeterPlug now, finalized the new requests and are about to do a third submission.

As of right now, we have submitted all new MeterPlug revisions three times and expect an answer regarding our latest submission for certification by the end of May.

Pending certification approval, we can begin the production phase ASAP and aim at perk shipments in the month of June.

The new materials makes for a tougher and better built MeterPlug that is better for everyone.

We would like to update you on the current status of MeterPlug.

We have submitted MeterPlug for UL, FCC and CE approval. Over the last two weeks we have had to modify the MeterPlug housing in order to achieve UL Certification. It now looks good and we anticipate the certification within the next few weeks at which time we will be ready to start mass production.

Once mass production starts, we will send you an email with a link, to where you can confirm or edit your shipping address.

We are still shooting for the end of April for your MeterPlug perk to ship.

The API will be available for: iOS, Android, MAC OSX, and Windows 8. The release of the API is expected to be released in April.
3rd Party developers can develop their own Apps for MeterPlug.
