Memorial costs for Pam

Help pay for service and memorial costs for our dear friend Pam.

Here's Why

Two weeks ago we started this campaign to cover the medical costs of our friend Pam who was diagnosed with Plasma Cell Leukemia. I'm sadden to update this campaign with the news that on Saturday February 16th, Pamela Wright, a dear friend and amazing woman, passed away.

We are now going to change the focus of the donations and have all of the funds raised put towards her service and memorial costs.

One week ago we said our first good-bye to Pamela Wright. The family conducted a service that was very nicely done by the church Pam attended – Bible Way Christian Center in San Jose. The funds raised will cover 100% of those costs.

Pam was cremated at the request of her family so while a burial is not possible for Pam, a collection of Pam’s “sisters” are looking at a way for her to be remembered by way of a memory site. While it will depend on the funds available after the campaign closes, we will look to make a donation in Pam’s memory to El Camino Hospital. Pam was treated with such kindness and love at El Camino for her chemo treatments and in her final days with us. I know that she would welcome a way to say thank you. We are also looking into a memorial bench in a San Jose park.

The Impact

Without your generosity the family is in a very difficult position on how to manage what comes next. I have met with many of Pam's friends and relatives during her final days in the hospital and I know that her entire community would be forever grateful for any assistance provided.
