Who is Maude’s Wagon you ask?
**RIGHT NOW AS OF OCTOBER 11-2013 WE'RE #1 ON THE ROCK CHARTS ON REVERBNATION FOR KENORA, AND #22 & RISING IN ALL OF CANADA**
But back to who we are.....
We're just a few Thirty Something Fathers/Husbands who’ve been writing and performing music since 1990. We’ve played in garage’s, basements, pubs, pit parties, slummy bars, and even a couple of music festivals.
From 1994 to 1998 a couple members of Maude’s Wagon were heavily vested in a band called Stript Stone seen in the video link here: ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J1ngdGzZSc ) - which at the time, at least in our own heads, we were rock stars.
Stript Stone was featured on local television networks, they won a recording contract with a local studio in the 1997 Battle of the Bands, were invited to play at several music festivals, performed multiple shows for 1000’s….but alas, the band came to a grinding halt in October of 1998.
Since then, Travis, Jeremy and Ben (Long time friend and exceptional drummer) have been writing and perfecting songs which are now ready to be recorded professionally.
We have a sample of a previously recorded song, Friend No More which has been TRENDING FOR SIX WEEKS STRAIGHT ON Reverb Nation Which will become our first single.
Recently on Sunday Sept-22-2013, Maudes Wagon got together to re-record a better version of the song plus a couple additional tracks as per request from our fans and will be available soon!
What We Need & What You Get
We will be using the money towards professional recording
studio time and part of it will be used for manufacturing actual LP's. We are not recording engineers and want to produce a quality product - therefor the professional studio time is required.
After so many years of loving and creating music, it’s time to get it out of our heads and into the digital world.
What you'll receive for funding this project is a digital download of the album and given at random, other promotional material, and of course an honorable mention on our website which is now online www.maudeswagon.com.
