In July of 2012, Matthew Dower passed away leaving behind his two year old daughter, Penelope Rose.
A loving father and a good friend to many, Matt was also a fundamental piece and constant fixture in the local music scene and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Especially by those of us who had the opportunity to share in his talents and dreams of making music on the stage.
In an effort to give something back, we have established this campaign to accept donations on behalf of Penny. Once our campaign is complete, a fund in Matthew's name will be established, with Penny as a beneficiary, for any one of a number of her possible future endeavors.
It is our hope that with this collection, in addition to the proceeds from upcoming benefit events, we can offer Penny a glimpse of some of what her father was and all that he meant to us.
We will miss you forever Matt.
