When a tragedy occurs in the Coachella Valley, it's the residents and businesses that always come out to show support. Please note the businesses to the right, that are willing to encourage you to support this amazing family who found themselves struggling as a result of a tragic and completely preventable situation.
There is no minimum to help. A $1.00 contribution shows YOU care.
Mark Ledbetter, of La Quinta, CA was riding with Chad Priest in Bermuda Dunes the morning of August 4th, 2012, when a vehicle struck both of them, killing Mark on impact. Details from the local newspaper at: http://www.mydesert.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012120806010
Mark leaves behind his wife Mary and his son Tice.
Nearly two years ago, his family was involved in a horrible car crash, that to this day, leaves Tice in continuous therapy.
Mark was an avid church attendee at the Southwest Community Church in Indian Wells, CA.
Tice is an avid robot enthusiast with dreams of engineering and science in his future. Your donation will help ensure that his dreams of going to college with a focus on science and robotics will happen as his father had hoped for.
Mary and Tice have already had to endure so much in the past two years. Please, find in your heart to contribute. Let's give Tice and Mary a showing of support and love. Anything you contribute will go towards helping Mary lay her husband to rest, help Tice in the years to come and help a family heal and be prepared for what the future holds for them.
Funds from this campaign will be deposited to the fund at Wells Fargo Bank, Mark E. Ledbetter Memorial. If you prefer to donate directly, please visit your local Wells Fargo to make your donation.
