Mr. Mark Davison: Teacher, Friend, Role Model.
Last October a friend and colleague of ours became extremely ill. Mr. Mark Davison, a Social Studies Teacher at Iroquois High School, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis and several other serious conditions of his lungs. He was in a coma for close to eight weeks, and hospitalized for over ten months. His condition has resulted in placement upon a list at the Cleveland Clinic to receive a lung transplant. Needless to say, Mark has accumulated significant medical and personal expenses throughout his ordeal.
Mark is a revered and selfless individual and teacher who is well respected throughout the community. Time after time, he has given his own personal time freely to create a learning environment which allows students to excel. Likewise, his devotion to the students is found in his involvement in numerous extracurricular activities including taking students to Europe for the past seven years, and Gettysburg for over fifteen years. His influence and inspiration has been acknowledged by his students throughout his twenty year career in education.
It is our goal to assist Mark in any way possible. Through a financial fundraising campaign, we are hoping to help Mark offset some of the mounting medical and personal expenses brought on by this unfortunate illness. Thus, we have developed an aggressive fundraising campaign to assist Mark and his wife, Carol. Any help that you, your business or your organization can afford Mark will be greatly appreciated. Mark and Carol thank you in advance for any assistance you or your group can offer. Mark has given so much of himself in his teaching career, and we are hoping to find some way to give back to him during his time of need. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.
