Help a Victim of Domestic or Sexual Violence
Stop the Sale of Your Personal Information
Your personal information is being compiled and sold to anyone willing to pay!
That not only violates your privacy, but it can threaten your physical and financial security. We are not just talking about companies looking to sell you products or services; we are talking about anyone who wants to find out where you and your loved ones live, your age, phone numbers, place of employment, and much, much more. In a just few clicks and for as little as $20, a complete stranger can find everything they want to know about you in 60 seconds or less.
Pretty scary, huh?
How does this happen?
Every time you access the Internet or use a smart phone, information brokers are watching, tracking and collecting vast amounts of your personal information which they then combine with publicly available data to create comprehensive personal profiles. Your information is then made readily available to anyone willing to pay. Because of this practice, it has become imperative that every one of us prudently manages our on line identity and is keenly aware of what information is being acquired, by whom, and how that information is being used.

So how do we fix this problem?
We are determined to empower Internet consumers to regain control of their on-line identities by better managing their on-line presence and, most importantly, controlling the amount and type of their personal information that is being compiled and sold on a routine basis -- so that we can all enjoy the benefits of the Internet without the fear of personal compromise.
To that end, we have combined our significant experience in the advanced analytics and data mining software industry with extensive research to create a real solution to this problem. Our new, technology-driven ManageURIDProtect service will remove your personal information from unauthorized sites and sites that sell information, and will dynamically opt you out of unwanted services. As a peripheral benefit, our process will also reduce the number of unwanted telemarketer calls and and unwelcome mail offers you receive.
Collectively, we have more than 65 years of relevant industry experience. We have a proven track record in the "sensitive consumer date" space, as well as a demonstrated ability to build new and successful disruptive technologies.
But, we need your help.
We have proven the methodology and we are well down the road to building the technology, but we’re running short of funds. The societal impact of what we are doing is too significant to let this project flounder. Hence, we are asking for your help in raising $500,000 to complete development work and to properly launch this critically important service to a seriously exploited community – the more than 2.3 billion users of the Internet today.
Your contribution will help others as well.
Every one of our contributors will receive our heartfelt thanks, will be an early beneficiary of our ManageURiDProtect service, and will be among the first to reclaim control of their personal information. Furthermore, every contribution you make will also have a charitable impact on the lives of others as we will donate our ManageURiDProtect service to one or more victims of domestic violence at no charge. See Perks for more detail.
To assure reasonable and equitable distribution, we have asked the National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence (NCSDV) to administer the allocation of donated services. NCDSV designs, provides, and customizes training and consultation, influences policy, promotes collaboration and enhances diversity with the goal of ending domestic and sexual violence.
If you believe in what we are doing, please tell everyone you know about this campaign, even if you are not in a position to contribute yourself. To make that process easy, while on this Indiegogo site, please be sure to use the "Share This Campaign" tool that appears above.
Help us better protect you and the global community of Internet users.
Thank You All,
Jack and Todd
