Hi folks, hope you’re well! It’s been a while since the last update from me so I thought I’d just bring you up to speed on where we are.

The edit on the film has just begun now with our award nominated editor Silvia de Abreu hard at work on the film in Nottingham. We’re also beginning to get ideas for the soundtrack together with some exciting news on this due in the coming weeks and months.

Thanks for your patience regarding perks too, we are getting all of these together and awaiting the 35mm development and final docs for the digital packs before sending these out. We’ve also got some thank you videos to do so stay tuned for those.

In related news for anyone local to Derby, the city’s ID Fest is taking place from May 9th to May 12th and I’d encourage everyone who can to attend. There’s a brilliant line up and some amazing special guests too. Plus, for anyone interested in making short films, some of our team will be on a panel discussing the form and our experiences over the years. I might even be able to bring some Love & Other Chairs footage!

This is a scene from the opening of the film and features Mark Drake as Julian as he recollects the memories of his wife becoming a chair. We’ll be adding more stills to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/loveotherchairs in the coming weeks.

That’s a wrap on Love & Other Chairs. After 3 days shooting in and around Derby, we completed filming last night! Thanks to our amazing cast and crew, it was a brilliant few days and delighted with what we’ve got in the can. Can’t wait to begin assembling the edit!

Thank you to all of our IndieGoGo backers for your contributions and support, we can’t wait to show you the final film. Now that we’ve wrapped we’ll begin to put together the perks for our backers including final thank you videos, 35mm stills and digital development packs.

Hello! We’re now just 2 days away from filming and getting the final preparations in place. The crew and cast are set and we’re looking forward to bringing this film to life thanks to your generous support.

We’ll be posting up stills on the campaign and over at our FB page so keep an eye out for those.

Apologies for the delay in getting the latest thank you videos out, we’re so busy preparing that we haven’t all had chance to get together and record them but we’ll do so as soon as possible.

For those awaiting development packs, once filming completes we’ll be getting all of these together and e-mailing them out.

Hi all!

Just a quick update on Love & Other Chairs, filming begins in just over a week and we’re getting everything prepared. The cast is now complete and we’re pleased to have such a wonderful group of actors onboard.

I’ve just seen some of the many costumes our designer Sophie Black has been creating and collecting for the production and they all look great, can’t wait for you to see them

We’ll be filming the final thank you videos soon when I’m back in Derby, look forward to sending those out to you soon along with any other perks we can get out.
