Who We Are
Sara Lahey founded the Hunting Happiness Project in 2010 and since then has been pioneering what she calls a “World Happiness Movement.” Earlier this year, Sara gave a talk at Yale University on the Art and Science of Happiness at a TEDx New Haven event. Her current campaign, “Love’n Aid” provides free gifts and services, and encourages people to engage in acts of kindness. This inspirational initiative is contributing to a kinder, happier, and more peaceful world.
Our Love’n Aid International Tour

Melbourne Australia Feb 15th to Feb 19th EVENT ON: Sunday Feb 17th
Gold Coast Australia Feb 19th to Feb 24th EVENT ON: Saturday Feb 23rd
Brisbane Australia Feb 24th to Feb 27th EVENT ON: Saturday, March 2nd
On February 7th, Sara and her team will embark on a Love’n Aid International Tour, to New Zealand, Australia and Taiwan. They will be visiting 6 cities in 5 weeks where they will work with local partners to host Love’n Aid events that will promote a world happiness movement.
All Love’N Aid Tour events will provide opportunities for community members to come together to experience the powerful resources of love and happiness. Our programs directly address the need for human connection, compassion and support. We are creating simple yet meaningful events and experiences. These events are designed to encourage participants to engage in acts of kindness with each other. We are bridging the gap between the things that divide us and creating sustainable community cultures.
What We Need & What You Get
Our primary goal is to maximize the level of impact we have in the communities that we will be serving. We need your help RIGHT NOW to reach our $18,000 goal.
All funds raised will go directly toward our ability to provide resources to communities we visit on our 6-city tour. Every contribution - of any amount - makes a difference. AND we’ve got some great perks for you! (See right column.)
We have already done 7 successful Love’N Aid community events here in the United States with the help of over 30 volunteers serving over 200 community members at each event. Now we need your help to extend our Love’N Aid events across the globe.
