The Film
"Love, Jennie" is a short film about a love triangle that goes wrong between three art students: Eliza, Dave and Jennie. The film starts at the end of the story with Eliza as she is arrested at a bar for starting a fight with Jennie. Eliza suffers a head trauma from the fight and while in the cop car she has a series of flashbacks that tell her side of the story. But hers is not the only side that matters. As the three main characters work on their paintings for the end of the semester gallery showing they confront feelings of love, rejection and betrayal.
The Crew
Love, Jennie is one of the eight films that are being produced in the Advanced Film class this semester at the University of North Texas. We are all very passionate about this project and so excited to be able to bring it to life. Our main crew consists of:
- Kendall James - Writer/Director
- Alex Phillips - Producer
-
Cody Graham - Director of Photography
- John Barbieri - Editor
All four members of the main crew will be graduating at the end of the semester when the film is finished so please help us to make the last film of our college careers the best it can possibly be! Another reason why this semester will be unlike any other is because UNT's Advanced Film class will be shooting digital for the first time ever! We are being given the amazing opportunity to shoot on the Red Scarlet camera and couldn't be more thrilled!
