There are still some people who have not received their perks. They are still being sent out, and we are still receiving returned packages that have been undeliverable for a variety of reasons, mostly people who have moved. We are contacting via email anyone whose perk was returned to us, and attempting to resend if we get confirmation of address or change of address information. If we don’t hear from you we don’t know where to send or re-send your perk. If you moved and have not received your perk, or if you didn’t give us a complete shipping address (NOT mailing address – we need a physical street address with apartment number, etc.) let us know your new shipping address so we can get your perk into your hands.
Good news! The perk shipments are close to completion! Most of you should have your perk now, or quite soon.
We want to thank everyone again, first for your generous contributions, and also for your extraordinary patience as we waded through the enormous amount of work we had to do to get out all the perks.
We know there will be some problems with sizes here or there, or other issues, and we will do our best to fix those things. There have been a few missing addresses, and undeliverable or returned items, and we are working on that. What a learning experience this has been.
The acquisition of Wardenclyffe is close, too! Things are moving along, and we are hoping to be able to announce ownership of the site in the very near future!
We want to thank Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal) for his outstanding support and generosity. This wouldn’t have been possible without him and his support staff. Great people!
Now that Wardenclyffe is about to be saved, we have to figure out how to raise the money for the conversion of the site into a spectacular museum. We have some seed money, and will have to raise more. Send us your ideas!
Many of you have received your perks, and the rest are being sent out. We had to re-order t-shirts, caps, totes, etc., and the fulfillment company is sending them out alphabetically by state. We know they have reached the midway point, and should complete shipments in the next few weeks (we hope). Foreign shipments are being handled country by country. They take a long time due to the customs forms that must be filled out, individually for each country and shipment. It’s far more work than we ever imagined, and we will be very happy when you all have your perks. The printer has completed the Geek booklets, and they will be shipped out as soon as we receive them. We hope the Nemo storm doesn’t hold things up much. We have also been moving towards closing on Wardenclyffe, which is what we have been working for all along. The survey is complete, and the environmental reviews are coming along. There is still a lot to be done, but we’re getting there! Check our Facebook page for future updates. Thanks, everyone!
