Keep William In School!

We are parents on a mission to keep William in school. He needs our help, and he needs it now!

Join hands with us...

This is William. He's 4 years old. On Friday, 11/2/12, he witnessed his own father shoot his mother and grandfather in what he thought was the comfort and safety of his own home. He doesn't feel safe anymore. He's frightened, angry, and confused.

Here is a link to the most recent media coverage:

While his mother and grandfather recover from their gunshot wounds, he does his best to get through each day. The greatest source of stability, consistency, and joy for William right now is each day he attends preschool. Sadly, though, the impacts of this horrific attack reach far beyond the obvious physical and emotional injuries. The financial impact may cause him to lose the ability to attend school, UNLESS we can band together to KEEP HIM ENROLLED!!

William's mother, Kate is employed as a marketing coordinator. Her injuries from the attack will keep her home at minimum through the end of this year. William cannot benefit from any source of support from his father, since he is incarcerated. The overwhelming medical and legal expenses for the family accumulate daily.

Our small, albeit strong network of parents from school have banded together to help in any way that we can. Delivering meals, offering support, and some parents have already reached into their own pockets for this cause. It may not be enough to keep William enrolled, though. We've set a goal of $3,500 with hope that we can raise enough to cover the cost of his tuition and hot meals at school for 3 months.

If you can't help with William's school tuition, we'd be grateful if you could share this link for his campaign on your Facebook page and/or email and get the word out to as many people as possible!

We can't stop. We just can't. William needs one thing right now - to feel SAFE. We can do this - will you join us?
