Jesse Cahill's Nightcrawlers Live Recording Project

When I started The Nightcrawlers almost ten years ago I never expected that our music would reach so many people.  What started out as a one-off gig at Cory Weeds’ Cellar Jazz Club has turned into a regularly performing group with critically acclaimed and award winning CDs and a steady track record for sold out performances. In no small way our almost monthly Tuesday night appearances at the Cellar over the last three years have contributed to the success of the group and now that it’s time for a new Nightcrawlers album we think that it’s only fitting to record it live at The Cellar.

Starting October 2nd we'll be performing and recording live every Tuesday*.  We will be selecting the best music from each performance and from this material we will be compiling a double CD to be released on Cellar Live Records .  

We are so excited about this project but we need your help to make it happen. With your generosity we hope to raise $7500 to offset the cost of producing, manufacturing and promoting the best Nightcrawlers recording yet.  Here’s how the numbers break down:

Production: $3500 (includes engineering, mixing, mastering, musicians and copyright fees)

Manufacturing: $2200 (includes graphic design costs, CD manufacturing)

Promotion: $1800 (will go towards media releases, internet and print advertising, and radio promotion)

 *performance dates are October 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th

I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to make a live CD with The Nightcrawlers and I’m anticipating a great series of shows at The Cellar in October.  I'll be updating our progress with photos and videos from the shows so check in here or stop by The Nightcrawlers website to see how things are going.
