Is there Nano in Your Sweets?

We found nanoparticles, 1 millionth the size of a grain of sand, in Dunkin' Donuts. Possibly dangerous to your health, help us test other products for nano too!

I have a precious great-granddaughter whom I want to protect from all evil. Nanoparticles in her food are certainly evil and can have no good end.

Thanks for working toward much needed transparency given the exponential growth in nanotechnology and the potential use/harmful nature of nanomaterials in food production. Hopefully this will pave the way for broader research addressing the possible dangers of new technologies in food production and packaging, given the nature of a corporate environment in which style and convenience rules over substance.

Wow, thank you so much! I can’t believe that these materials are in our foods without safety testing or labeling. Hopefully this campaign can start raising awareness about this issue—a lot of people are interested in the effects of genetically-engineered foods, but I never hear about nanomaterials. Good work!
