irevuo started off as a nice idea. We wanted to build a platform dedicated to promoting indie artists. An online magazine which would review self-published books, showcase painters, musicians, photographers, graphic artists.
Then we decided to publish a magazine, which would be available in print and digital formats.
Which we did.
The digital edition of our January issue is available for free. And it's going to stay so.
You can download the PDF version here.
Each issue will have a main theme. This month's topic was self-publishing. Next month's going to be photography.
What we need
In order for irevuo to promote indie artists, we need exposure. That's why we're offering our magazine for free.
And for the same reason, we want to make irevuo available for iPads, iPhones, Android Smartphones, and Kindle.
But in order to do that, we need the following:
- Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition - an impressive piece of software designed for this very job - creating and publishing interactive content.
- an iOS Developer Program Account, which is another $99 per year.
Each month we want to buy a piece of software that will allow us to expand our reach, also allowing us to better promote indie artists.
What you get
Advertising in our magazine. Merchandise. Some other cool stuff.
Other ways you can help
Some of you just can’t afford to contribute, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help:
Spread the word around. Share our campaign with your friends. The more people find out about irevuo, the more changes we have to reach our goal.
