Hi everyone,
Thank you for all your continued support and patience. We apologize for the delay in shipping your TaskOne iPhone case and are happy to say that the wait is nearing an end!
All of our components have been approved for manufacturing, which means shipping is just around the corner! We had some minor issues with the color and durability of the finish on the production aluminum parts, but have wear-tested and inspected a number of new coatings that will be colorful, stylish and very durable.
We will be sending out images of the first 50 produced, to give you a look at your brand new case, and the first 2000 pre-orders will not be far behind. Please look for another update in about 10 days,
Again thank you so much for your patience and we cannot wait to get TaskOne in your hands!
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your patience. An update on manufacturing progress. We are pushed back by about 1.5 weeks from our original 3rd-week of April shipping target due to some slight modifications that we have to make with the tooling, but despite that we are still planning on making our first shipment the last few days of April. That means some of you early backers should see your case in the first or second week of May, depending on your location. The rest of the cases will be shipping on a rolling basis through mid-May. So hold-tight, we are on the home stretch!
Thanks,
The TaskLab Team
Nearing the finish-line!
I know everyone has been waiting patiently for their TaskOne cases, and we are moving full-steam ahead on the project. There are still about 30 of you who have not filled out the survey. We cannot send your cases if you have not completed the survey! The survey links are below:
Earlybird ($75 perk): http://www.thetasklab.com/surveyeb
Regular ($90 perk): http://www.thetasklab.com/surveyregular
Here is the update on the production progress:
Production tooling is nearly complete and we are scheduled to have the first production parts for all of your cases arriving in mid-April. Once we receive the parts, we will assemble each case (each case has a total of 9 springs, 15 fasteners, 7 tool steel components, 2 aluminum components, two polycarbonate components and a nylon film!). We will then be testing every case before shipping and are shooting to send you all your cases before the end of April. It is a tight schedule so we can’t accommodate any delays, but we are confident that we are on track right now!
To get you excited, you will be receiving a fully packaged TaskOne case with all accessories. I have attached the first picture of the case in its almost final packaging for your enjoyment!

Hi TaskOne Supporters,
We have received our first batch of color prototype cases from the manufacturers, and are well on our way to completing production in March and shipping the product to you in April. We had a minor setback with Chinese New Year, but are working hard to recover and get you product out to you on schedule!
We have sent out the survey emails and gotten a lot of responses, but there are still about 100 of you who have not filled out the survey. We can’t ship your case until we know which case type and color you would like, so if you have still not received the survey for which case type (iPhone 4/4s OR iPhone 5) and which color (if you ordered a color case) please click the link below or watch out for the email later today.
If you purchased an earlybird case use this link: www.thetasklab.com/surveyeb
If you purchased a special edition or color case use this link: www.thetasklab.com/surveyregular
If you think that you have not received the email survey we may have an incorrect email address, so please contact us at info@thetasklab.com and we will get the survey right out to you.
Thanks,
The TaskLab Team
