INCOHERENT RAGE tells the story of a nervous, arrogant, self-deprecating young man and his hopeless journey into the San Francisco night.
1st day of production: September 14, 2012
This is San Francisco cinema. We’re shooting it in the Richmond. I live there. San Franciscans live there. It’s a real neighborhood. At night, the neon pulses along Geary. Ocean Beach smothers the streets with sand. Red traffic lights trail off into infinity.
There is no Golden Gate Bridge. No victorian houses. This is not a cute independent film. It’s not about idiosyncratic lovers shyly finding each other. It won’t tickle you with its cleverness.
This is a brutal film. It’s about love and rejection and desire and desperation. We want to scare you, to move you, to shock you, to make you uncomfortable, to make you laugh in tense anguished awe.
We need your support. CONTRIBUTE. Help make this project blossom into its fullness. Support young filmmakers who are doing something strong and different. Be there with us when our film hits the festival screens. Every little bit goes a long way. Every big bit goes even further.
Your contributions are deeply appreciated.
If you want to talk the project over, don’t hesitate to call me up.
