InboxPro.com

InboxPro is an effort to 'fix' your inbox. Right now you might receive hundreds of emails per week. Some are short, some are long, some are 'For Your Infomation' only. Unfortunately the subject line hardly ever gives you insight into how much time will be involved in answering the message.

Likewise, the sender is left in the dark too. Why aren't you replying quickly? Is your inbox empty or overflowing? How long does it generally takes before I can expect a reply?

Inbox Pro solves both problems by making it easier for the receiving person to manage email and by giving the sender more insight in the 'Average Response Time' and the current queue in the receivers inbox. The system is currently in closed beta and fairly limited in its functionality but people who use it already report being significantly more efficient in handling their email.

What We Need & What You Get

We would love to raise some money to be able to expand the team and get this to market as quickly as possible. The only thing this money will be used for is people. The founders won't take money out or receive a management fee, we will pay for the servers ourselves and we will handle all other costs ourselves too. We just want to hire two extra developers and hope that by doing some pre-sales here we will be able to delay having to raise funding, and maybe even prevent ever having to raise funding at all.

• If we raise €50.000 we will use that to pay two developers €2300 a month.
• The remaining money will be used to hire free-lance designers, interaction designers, and iOS/Android developers. 
• If we won't raise the full amount of funding that will just mean we have to work harder.

The Team

The current version fo InboxPro.com was built by Boris and Jeffrey. Boris is a serial entrepreneur and has (co-)founded TwitterCounter.com, V3.com, TheNextWeb.com and a range of other companies that have done well. Jeffrey is a college student who took on this (so far) unpaid job because he wanted to learn how develop awesome stuff.
