My mother was taken from my family by a drunk driver. He had 4 passengers in his car who possibly COULD have stopped him. Police have released that at the time of the accident he was going 100mph when he lost control of his car and became airborn. He collided with a bus stop where a crowd of people was waiting. On this tragic day 4 people died, one of which being my mother Johnni Lee Garner. I was not able to find a youtube video which stated her name but I will include several links to the articles.
My children (5 &2) and I lived with my mother. She was the main income in our household. I am struggling to come up with the money for a proper funeral. I hate to have to ask people to help but I have no idea what else to do. No one expected this. No one thought that this could happen to our family...
My daughters continue to ask for their grandmother. They don't understand why she isn't coming home, why they can't see her face or hear her voice. I myself do not understand why this happened. I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that this is real, that it really happened... I cannot believe yet that she isn't coming back.
My mother was a very kind and loving person. She was a Nurse at Sunrise Hospital. She helped people on a daily basis. She loved everyone. I don't think she ever had one bad thing to say about someone... You always saw her with a smile on her face or she was giggling at something that was said. She always put others before herself, even people that she did not know.
Any donation amount is grealty appreciated. I thank you for helping my family in this time of need...
