THE SYNOPSIS

Our names are Melissa Ewing and Edwin Navas, and together we are writers and producers of Peachtree and 5th.  We intend to shoot IN AMANDA'S SHOES in Georgia and provide opportunities to the talent and communities here.  Our short film THE PROMOTION has been well received and is a partial excerpt of our feature film.  It recently showed at the Cannes Film Festival and was screened at the Hoboken International Film Festival in June.  We have set a high bar for our projects and with each one challenge ourselves to do better and push ourselves even more with our creativity and production skills.  We believe you will fall in love with the characters of IN AMANDA'S SHOES and are thrilled to have Jackie Costello, our lead actress in THE PROMOTION, reprise her role as Amanda Johnson and explore the character in more depth.  We have many other projects at various stages that you can check out at www.peachtreeand5th.com.

The Impact

This film will speak to men and women who have had to make sacrifices to pursue their goals.  It also touches on family issues, as well as finding one's inner strength and discovering humility as we tackle everyday hurdles to find balance in life.  

What You Can Get for Contributing

There are awesome rewards for donating, such as signed photos and DVDs, coffee table photo books, VIP party and screening invitations, set visits, walk-in and day-player roles, and even an opportunity to become an associate producer!  We have a great script and are excited to have the talented Jackie Costello on board as our lead actress.  We will shoot on digital, and all money raised will be used to cover pre-production and production expenses, including travel expenses, camera and filmmaking equipment, talent and crew expenses, location fees, and other pre-production and production costs. If we do not reach our goal by the deadline, we will save the money and keep raising it through other sources and contribute as much of our own money as possible to make this film.  It will happen!
