Centuries-old human organisms have managed to survive even in the most challenging situations. Most of these situations, in other words, the lives of these organisms, have been created by the humankind itself. However, it created its own world as to the extent that its physical and mental power allowed. Therefore, humankind turned out to be both the creator and the created at the same time.
Five thousand years ago, the oldest known civilizations emerged in Mesopotamia. Till our day, these civilizations have survived somehow, but made a mistake at some point. They did not hesitate to destroy and betray our Mother Earth. Despite of this ruthless betrayal, she waited in patience and gave some time to humankind to remedy its own mistakes. But, this process has been too painful to endure for her and this consequently knocked her off balance.
This fall shaped humanity’s destiny dramatically and made its betrayer suffer as well. Just like a vicious cycle. The more we cut the trees, polluted the air and killed callously, the more she struck back. It was at this point that winds of change blew through people’s soul and altered its perception of nature and life. Part of humanity realized that we have to reconcile her needs with ours.
If you wish to break this vicious cycle too, help me to create a brave new world which offers to live in harmony with every living thing. That’s how we will learn living in peace. This change will start with each of us. So, my motto is, as Gandhi said “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Just like a bird building its nest with grass, moss and soil, we also should make the most of what Mother Earth offers us. Her fertility is enough for all of us. Instead of surrendering to the current life conditions,or fighting against them, we can make a new start without them. We shouldn’t restrain ourselves from dreaming a new world for our happiness and future…

Walt Whiteman reflects what our bodies and souls need to live in a happy and healthy way in his poem “Give me the splendid silent sun”. These are the basic needs that are not just nurturing our body, but also our spirits and hearts as well. The only way to obtain these needs is to get along with Mother Earth. So, the first question we ought to ask is:
- How did we make it possible to create a world without them in the first place?
- And once we created this world, how could we adapt our needs to this life’s rules?
On one hand, it is frightening to answer these questions. Because it is not easy to realize the illusion blunts our eyes.
On the other hand, it is so thrilling to think about our potential in achieving these dreams. With every new member the winds of change blowing around of world is getting bigger day by day.
Let’s think about what we need:
Which kind of societies and living spaces are we dreaming?
Let’s soak up the sun, the scent of Anatolian lands and feel the nature.
Let’s create new civilizations and common agricultural places with liberated animals and strive for what we really need: Love.
We have never had the chance of being a part of our dreams until now. But it is time to sow the seeds, watch the blossoms and leave our descendants a green world.
We may not be descendants of the world of our dreams, but we can be ancestors of these dreams in a new world.

What is my aim in this project?
During my college years I learned how to apply architectural materials to create different types of places that can ease our life and conform in the maximum level. The education I received provided me with some basic architectural knowledge and skills which are necessary to accomplish my aims. I want to combine these skills with my love of nature and lead to produce new living spaces in parallel with my aims, such as applying natural materials and exploiting our resources as fully as possible.
I have listed below the steps that I will go through during this process;
- To gain a new experience on leadership, social entrepreneurship and share this with those people who support me during my project. This emotional sharing and intimacy will surely nurture our hearts through this long road.
For this purpose I applied to “Warriors without Weapons” organization and I was selected among 600 applicants to be one of the 40 warriors.
During the application process I was expected to carry out a couple of tasks that were required by the organization. You can follow my blog and check out these tasks that were handled successfully. (www.mervewww2012.blogspot.com)
“Warriors without Weapons” is an experiential international training about leadership and social entrepreneurship, offered to youth which are trained in technologies to transform realities anywhere in the world.
- To discover a wide range of natural materials and the principles of Ecological Architecture. With this starting point, I’d like to participate in different types of workshops and academic lectures as much as possible.
- To study the eco-villages where people can lead financially, environmentally and mentally sustainable life. By observing the structure and the mechanism of the villages, I aim to integrate this perfect balance of the nature into sustainable architecture.
To better myself in Biomimicry which is the examination of Nature, its models, systems, processes, and elements to emulate or take inspiration from in order to solve human problems. I believe that by studying ruled surfaces and comparing them to geometry I can broaden my horizon in Sustainable building design and Biomimicry.
As the father of Biomimicry, Gaudi said “My structural and aesthetic ideas are indisputably logical. The fact that they have not been applied before, and that I have to be the first one to do it, has given me much to ponder. That would be the only thing that, in any case, would make me doubt. Nevertheless, I believe that, being convinced of the perfection they entail, it is my duty to apply them.”

This is the tentative itinerary of the Journey from 25 June 2012, to January 2011. Only the Warriors Without Weapons is the certain program which I will join. The other part of Journey will be shaped by supporter and my destiny.

Kleiwerks International and the Women of the Americas Sustainability Initiative (WASI)are offering WASI Apprenticeships in 15 countries across the Americas. The Apprenticeships are hands-on leadership trainings in ecological design-build practices for women. 12 apprentices + two assistants will be selected per country, each of whom will also do a follow-up project of their choosing after the four months is over. 100% of the proceeds from this Apprenticeship go to support WASI, which is an alliance of women leaders who construct, educate, organize, and advocate for strong and empowered communities through ecological design-build practices with the aim of creating a socially and ecologically resilient world.

FEEDBACK
My aim is to share all the experiences and knowledge I will gain via workshops or projects. I have been hearing for years that most of my friends, and probably you too, desire to lead a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle. So, I wish to start educating myself in this organization and then educate large masses about reas ons and results of Sustainable living&design .
Many years ago western people established numerous institutes and communities in an attempt to consolidate the wisdom of the ancient with modern-day level of knowledge and consciousness. For this reason, I can access the knowledge I need through these institutes in the most straightforward and reliable way.
I am ready to devote my heart and body to cooperate with Mother Earth.

BIOGRAPHY
She came to Planet Earth on 24 December 1986 at Cappadocia. Where has been shaped by lava..But the world was a little strange at that time. Expectations of people in society, were more important than one’s own wishes. At the beginning she was just a shy child.That’s why she just tried to follow up the system. Then the tasks of the system started to follow her…
First mission : Grow up little baby and learn our ethics…
She tried, but she was always too shy to be connected with people. Maybe she couldn’t understand the ethics easyly…
Second mission : Continue to grow up and go to school kids…
She went to school as a normal child and she did very well untill university! Because she has grown enough to think about who i am and what i want?
-I like to create something by my hand…
-I like to design by my mind…
-I like to catch the beauties for every part of life…
-I like quantitative sciences and geometry”
-I am just running away from system! That is not a solution!
-I have to stop it!
-Okay!I have to finish my study and then i can decide more healthy!”
Third mission : Complete your education!
And for the first time she accepted the mission by herself. Then she finished her study in two years. And at the end of her studying she heard something about “Natural Architecture, Straw-bale Houses, Green Buildings, Earth houses…” She was so exited to learn more about this building type. Suddenly she saw a workshop which is about ‘Ecological and Natural Architecture’ which has been organized by Filiz Telek. It was the most amazing, exiting, joyful event ever, first natural building workshop in Turkey, with brilliant Penny Livingston and Janell Kapoor! And she found lots of answer for discover herself more and more…

Just dream it and believe it.. “
After first whispering of Mother Earth, system stopped to give mission to her. She felt that she jumped to another parallel universe! And she was so happy at that universe. She met lots of people like her who already started to make war with their special weapon to save the Mother Earth. She haven’t been hopeful as much as like that before. It was like a dream for her. She believed one more time that ‘dreams are coming true if you believe…’
After this workshop she joined an other natural building workshop as an assistant. That workshop was especially for architecture students at Karakayalar-Eskisehir\Turkey which was organized by Anadolu Univers
