Hurricane Sandy-Restore The Shore Projects-Fill that truck!

Restore the Shore Projects-PA Chapter needs your help to fill our truck with building supplies for our friends on the Jersey coast.

Short Summary

Restore The Shore Projects-PA Chapter is an initiative to assist in disaster relief for Hurricane Sandy victims. Our main goal is to work quickly to provide relief and deliver it right into the hands of victims and restore their lives back to normal.
 
As representatives of Eastern Pennsylvania we strive to provide support in every step of the relief and rebuilding process in the coastal and beach communities we have come to value through vacations and recreation, through both materials and labor.
 
As the PA Chapter of the Restore The Shore Projects, we are acting as a conduit for those in our area looking to donate materials and time to the coastal communities in need.

Throughout our efforts we have partnered with Waves for Water, (www.wavesforwater.org) to head the relief efforts. This campaign will directly benefit their efforts as they work to rebuild the homes and businesses lost during the storm.
 
What We Need 
 
The easiest thing you can do to help us is donate anything you can, large or small. A simple $5 or $10 donation will go a very long way. After you have donated to our page please share with everyone you know. 

This campaign has been created because we have begun to turn the page from needing the donations of food, clothing, and other essential items for survival to those items that will aide in the rebuilding process. Many homes and businesses were gutted, but the owners cannot afford the materials needed for rebuilding. Our hope is that we reach and exceed our goal so we can buy drywall, insulation, and other essential building supplies.

We will purchase all of the items from the Home Depot in Toms River, NJ and fill our trailer in Lavallette, NJ where it will be given directly to those who need it. No red tape, no politics. Here is a small list of what we are looking to purchase;

Drywall. insulation, drywall screws, drywall joint tape, spackle, joint knives, tarps, and nails.

We are a group of volunteers doing this on our own time. We would love to give you perks for helping us out, but the truth is; other than a high five and our deep appreciation, everything we have is going to help others.

Please know that your efforts no matter how small will be priceless to the family that is being helped.
