Hot Guys with Guns - Part two

Why we're back 

We raised about eight percent of the budget with the help of indiegogo. And it turns out making a movie this ambitious and this good cost more than the 75 thousand dollars we originally intended. The actual budget turned out to be almost twice that. 

The original twenty nine thousand we raised on indiegogo got us started and that coupled with angel investors and the pulling every favor we could muster has put us within a week of wrapping production. 

However, some of our angels pulled out and left us short and we have to raise the funds to finish the seven days of shooting and start post production. 

What We Need & What You Get

We need to cover the cost of the crew, the union actors, location costs, including a down-town warehouse and the hero mustang in the movie. We also have a 70k dollar camera package that is amazing that's being given to us for less than five percent of its value plus another week's insurance to cover the equipment, cast, and crew. 

And for helping us - the same great prizes we offered before. 

The Impact

You can see from the clip above what kind of movie that Hot Guys with Guns is shaping up to be; smart, funny, slick, well-acted and beautifully shot.  It's an action comedy adventure with characters who've never been allowed to be at the center of movies like these. 

Kelly Jones is DP is lighting the hell out of these actors and using the smallest crew of gaffers and electricians you can imagine. 

Marc Samuel is doing double duty as Danny in our movie and playing the newest character on the long running hit day time series General Hospital.

Darryl Stephens as Tim is both funny and sinister and now the lead in LOGO’s new LA drama DTLA.

And the world is about to meet a brand new star in Brian McArdle who is going to carve Pip Armstrong in to the hearts and loins of movie audiences. 

Trey McCurley is mysterious, beautiful, and a comic genius. 

Our title song and score are being composed by the six time Grammy winner Mervyn Warren. 

We wouldn't have gotten this far without the love and support of friends, family, and some complete strangers. 

And until we can replace the investors who've had to leave the project we have to come back to you to help us finish the movie. 

If I could talk everyone who gets this in to giving us at least 20.00 - we'd be golden. Done. Some of you have given a lot more than that - and for that we're grateful. Know that. We're asking you to reach a little deeper and give a little bit more - to help us finish the movie. We're almost  there - seven days of shooting and pick-ups and then a month of piecing it together.
