It's The End Of The World...
... and it's dangerous place.
The 10-minute short film Home chronicals two sister's struggle inside a mysterious, seemingly abandoned house.
Who Are We?
We are a group of filmmakers based in Chicago, IL. This is our final project before graduation from Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy, and is a key part of our reels and portfolios. This movie could be the difference between us being filmmakers this summer... or bartenders.
Survival Supplies
The budget for our film is $5000. This is to cover-
- Transportation (to Gary, Indiana, where the set is located)
- Food
- Generators
- Props
- Camera rentals
- Film festival entry fees
If we don't reach the goal, the money will still be used in the most productive way possible. We just won't eat as much (or at all.) Actually, we'll just eat the PA's on set. Survival of the fittest, folks.

The Bechdel Test
During script revisions, Anton learned about the Bechdel Test. The Bechdel Test measures women's presence in movies on three criteria.
(1) it has to have at least two women in it, who (2) who talk to each other, about (3) something besides a man.
It is SHOCKING how many movies don't meet the standards. We have decided to make Home with an all female cast, because our crew believes that females can be just as powerful in a role as males, and that this standard in the industry MUST be changed.
