THE BIGGER PICTURE
Our movie is almost done! We need to raise funds for finishing work such as sound design and music licensing, as well as resources for marketing, promotion, PR, advertising, MPAA rating and digital/film prints for theatrical release in select U.S. cities starting April 2013 followed by International release by the end of 2013.
If you are able to contribute financially by showing off “your trick”, we have amazing perks to choose from that we think you’ll really dig. Please also spread the word about our funraising campaign to your network!
Help us make Heroes of Dirt an epic favorite - the next big BMX movie since the cult classic Rad which was released in 1986. While we have “Cru Jones” of Rad playing the father of our lead actor, our story is unique.

Log-line: A young man's passion to achieve greatness in the sport as he realizes true significance by mentoring a troubled teen.
Synopsis: Passionate BMX dirt jumper, Phin Cooper (Joel Moody), wants nothing in life but to attain fame in his sport and get paid doing it. After missing out on a competition when he lands in jail for unpaid citations, he is court-ordered for community service and reluctantly mentors one of the toughest boys, Blue Espinosa (Will Martinez).

Featuring some of the best stunts in dirt jumping by legendary pros and hardcore locals, Heroes of Dirt is more than adrenaline rush. It embarks on an unforgettable journey into real significance, and the price it takes to get there.

WHAT IF WE DON’T REACH OUR GOAL?
If we don’t raise our goal, we get to keep whatever we've raised so far minus the IndieGoGo applicable fees of course. Whatever we raise will be put to good use, so something is better than nothing! Those 30 days will fly by, so please show off your trick today!
CAN WE EXCEED OUR GOAL?
Yes, and we need to! We’re setting a lower goal than what we actually need, so that we have a bigger chance at arriving there. The $20,000, at the very least, will cover our finishing work expenses and theatrical MPAA rating. The more we raise the better!
