Hello everyone,

I am starting this fundraiser for my friend, fraternity brother, and pledge kid Shahed Shirmast. For those of you who didn't know about Shahed, all you need to know is that she is a loving, caring, and fun person with a beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She was a brother of Alpha Phi Omega-Alpha Epsilon Nu chapter and always lived up to the our motto "leadership, friendship, and service."

On October 27, 2012, she was brought to the hospital due to an obstructive hydrocephalus which left her in a comatose. It was her 22nd birthday on October 31, 2012 and all of her family and friends wished for her to wake up. Then on Saturday, November 3rd, she was taken off life support and continued her service to others by being an organ donor.

What I ask for everyone for the next two weeks is to spread the word about this young, lovely lady and help raise $5,000 if not more to help her family with expenses they may have during this unfortunate time. Whether you knew Shahed or not, I know you will find it in your heart to help out with any monetary value. I would like to  say thank you in advance for all the support and love that you have for Shahed and I know that she is looking down on everyone smiling and appreciating everything that we've done for her and her family.
