Help Two Tons of Steel finish “Unraveled”
11 new songs on our 11th CD.
First off we just want to say thank you for the years of support our great fans and friends have given us. It has been an incredible ride though clubs, states, countries and lots and lots of shows.
Your pledges are going directly to the CD.
The funds will go to paying for the 3 mixing days @ $1,200 a day, manufacturing 1,000 Cd's @ $1,400 and the radio promotion of "Unraveled" which will run about $5,000. This important becuase without it no one will ever hear this CD outside of our fans. Every cent of the pledges are going to the CD. We truly believe this is the best recording we have ever made. It is raw, emotional and true to Two Tons.
We have been so blessed to be able to make a living for our families playing music and want to continue recording not only for them but for everyone who has dreamed of being in a band. "I remember the first time I played live, it was a singer/songwriter night at Yakafritzes Coffee House in Nacodoches, Tx. I was so scared I couldn’t finish my song, and left the stage. It took 10 years before I tried again. To think that I have been on the Grand Ole Opry, tour Europe and play over 200 shows a year still makes me smile." Kevin Geil said.
“Unraveled” is a back to basics approach to recording. It’s just Geil, Brian Duarte on guitar, Paul Ward on drums and Jake “Sidecar” Marchese on upright bass they are amazingly talented players! Produced by our longtime friend Lloyd Maines and engineered by Pat Manski at The Zone in Dripping Springs. We have financed $5,000 our selfs and now asking for help to finish it up. We are needing to raise an additional $10,000. We hope to get “Unraveled” to #1 on the Americana Music Charts, our last release hit #4.
If there is anyway you can helps us financially and by turning your friends and family on to us we would be forever grateful.
Thanks Again - Kevin, Brian, Paul and Jake
