To help the owners of Bain’s Hardware in Sea Bright, NJ, repair their store, re-stock their shelves and re-open their doors, so they can continue to serve their local community, which has been devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
Bain’s Hardware History:
For owners Frank and Pat Bain, opening Bain’s Hardware in Sea Bright, NJ, was a dream come true. Since October 1994, when Frank responded to an ad about the opening, he and Pat have owned and operated Bain’s Hardware and have fallen in love with the town of Sea Bright.
Going back as far as the 1900s, the Bain’s location has always been (much more than) a hardware store, with many identities over the years: Mahoney and Harvey, Fowler’s Hardware, Sea Bright Hardware, Wick’s Hardware and, finally, Bain’s Hardware. The store has become a town treasure, and every family has had their fair share of Bain’s experiences. Patrons know they will always find what they need, and look forward to warm interactions with store employees.
Bain’s offerings include a wide variety of painting, plumbing, electrical, garden and beach supplies, and so much more. Frank and Pat have also enjoyed selling Sea Bright apparel, and their store is overflowing with local personality. As Frank says, “If we don’t have it, you don’t need it.”
As you may know, Superstorm Sandy completely devastated the town of Sea Bright along with the interior of Bain’s Hardware. The damage is extensive and heartbreaking.
We have committed to rebuilding and re-opening Bain’s Hardware, and helping the town of Sea Bright get back on its feet. Please help Frank and Pat with a donation of any size, and help Sea Bright return to its former glory.
