Hi, my name is Princess and I am a four year old Pomeranian. I'm the sweetest, fun-loving pom you'll ever meet. Unfortunately, I was born with several genetic conditions that have gotten worse as I've grown older. I used to enjoy meeting new friends at the park and splashing around at the beach. Now, even the simplest tasks are difficult.
First, I have a condition known as a severe luxating patella. What that means is that my kneecap shifts out of place when I walk. I've tried many things to make it better like yucky pills and exercise but they haven't worked. My doctor says the only way I'll get better is through surgery. I've already had my right leg fixed this way and it feels much better now. But my parents can't afford another surgery. Will you help me?
As if that's not bad enough, I also have a large tumor in my belly. I went to the doctor for some tests but they were inconclusive, and further testing is needed. The tumor has grown since then and I'm scared it might be cancer. Will you help me?
Lastly, I have a lot of trouble breathing. It sounds like I'm snoring while I'm wide awake. The doctor wants to check my throat to see what's wrong and hopefully make it better. With a new leg and improved breathing I can return to my old self again.
Your donation can make this happen. Every dollar counts so please give anything you can. If you find that you can't give, please spread the word. I appreciate you taking the time to hear my story.
