OWL & PENNY "MILK & SUGAR"
My name is Ryan Osterman. I play ghost folk music under the name Owl & Penny. After 3-4 years of writing/recording/mixing/etc this record is just about ready to be released into the wild! I'm excited to show you all what I've been doing this whole time with gigantic full band noise and orchestra strings and cool things to bang on. I know it's been a long wait, a lot longer than I intended it to be but we're almost there!
What I still need to put this thing out:
I work a TON(6 days a week), and have been saving a bunch for this $3500 goal I need to reach in order to make this a reality. The $3500 will need to be gathered in order to fund the mastering (to get every song up to the highest quality for all your ears!), the distribution (to you, record stores in your town, and all you lovely folks overseas), and finally the printing of the vinyl LP itself!
All I am asking of you guys is just $1750 total, I'll take care of the rest!
Here are some of the perks!
- Preorder of the digital copy of 'Milk & Sugar' before it's released
- A free download of my other project Sownbones' 14-track full length 'The Garden'
- Preorder of the vinyl LP of 'Milk & Sugar'
- Limited edition buttons
- Personal videos
- One of a kind handmade jewelry from Moonbeam Jewelry (www.etsy.com/shop/alexandreart)
- Live shows and interview via skype
- Intimate show at your place or any place for you and your pals! (Arizona)
(Vinyl LP and snailmail perks will follow the February delivery dates)
You and Me:
These past years have been crazy and the thing that has carried me through this is your love, encouragement, and ceasless support of both myself and this record. None of this would be even remotely possible without each and every one of you and there is no way I could ever forget that or express my gratitute thoroughly enough. This is a way for you to directly affect this record, for us to stay connected, and ultimately this is your chance to make a difference and put this record out together!
Other Ways You Can Help
I know what it's like to work a ton and not have any money, if you can't donate anything, it's alright! Just do me a super big solid and repost this on your Facebook, Tumblr, or Twitter, and talk about the cause and how awesome it's going to be to have this record out and in your ears and in your hands and spinning on your cool antique record player. Anything you can do to get the word out is amazing and I will appreciate it to no end! You all are the best listeners anyone could ever possibly dream up and I'm forever grateful for everything you do.
