Noah's Story
Noah is a five year old little boy who was involved in a traumatic accident on June 26 in which his left hand was severed from his body. He was riding in the backseat of his grandmother's truck and playing with a jump rope. When she was stopped at a red light Noah, unbeknownst to his grandmother, dropped one end of the jump rope out the window and the other end was wrapped around his left wrist. When the light turned green and the truck started moving, the jump rope caught in a tire and the force amputated his hand. A stranger helped to stem the bleeding while waiting for the ambulance, and a friend retrieved his little hand from the road. Noah was rushed by ambulance to a hospital 3.5 hours away in Boston where he underwent a 14 hour surgery to reattach his hand. It remains to be known whether or not his hand will survive.
How We Can Help This Little Guy
During Noah's recovery his family will incur many out of pocket expenses. This campaign will help to ease the financial burden, and will enable his family to focus all of their energy on helping Noah get well and hopefully regain the use of his hand. Noah's recovery will be long and the goal is only set at $5000, but there is no limit on how much we can raise so let's try to far surpass it!
Other Ways You Can Help
