Meet Izze
Izze is a little spitfire of a girl who was born with a condition called congenital amputation or as we like to call it, a limb difference. Basically she was born without an arm beyond her elbow. She has always kept a positive attitude about it and handled akward situations with humor and grace...
This year at school the bullies started coming and she started to feel a bit uncomfortable there. Before too long Izze started to feel a little too different and has started expressing interest in making friends like her. Aside from one boy who is quite a bit younger than her she has never met anyone like herself. She would really like to attend a camp for other congenital amputees that will be held this fall and finally be able to feel like she fits in somewhere.
The Camp
The camp itself is mostly funded by donations and scholarships so only a small portion of the money will actually go to that expense... the airfare, well thats another story!
Izze's mom has been working as hard as she can to generate the money to buy plane tickets, a rental car and a few basic camping supplies for the trip but she could use a serious boost!
Miss Izze has promised to send a thank you gift created by her to anyone who contributes more than $15.00! She is quite the little artist and is ready to write poems and paint pictures for all of you as a way to say thank you!
The Impact
She might have struggles due to her condition, and she might have her down days like everybody else, but YOU can help make sure she has a summer experience that will not only bring a few weeks of excitement , it will be an adventure with people who understand that she really can do anything she puts her mind to.

We know times are tight! Izze also is really interested in making penpals or friends like her and discovering any other resources out there for kids like her, sending us a link or connection would be just as fantastic and helpful as a financial contribution.
