My name is Amanda, I am a avid animal lover and very passionate about all animals especially American Staffordshire Terriers. I am a vet tech and live in NC with my husband Jake, a meteorologist in the Air Force, who also shares my love of animals. We have a beautiful am staff mix who is our world.

When I read the story about Herbie (been named by the vet clinic caring for him) I was enraged and heartbroken over it. Herbie was found severely, emaciated and a crushed skull (frontal sinus cavity) from abuse. I honestly thought that he was a chihuahua in the picture....I knew that I had to do something, and raising money for his recovery is the best that I can do for him.

I am making this indiegogo fundraiser, because as of today there were NO online fundraising for poor Herbie, and I know this is faster, more convenient and has a farther reach. Thank you so much!

How you will be helping


All of the funds raised will go solely into the long term care that Herbie is going to need. He has shown that he wants to live, now we as a society need to help him fight this fight against those who did this to him.

Your money will go to Lorain Clinic who is taking care of Herbie, as well as any other medical needs that he will require in the future.

If you cannot donate, just please spread the word. Animal lovers must unite and show those who lack any moral standing, or human compassion that they cannot win, and we will always stand against them.
Good overcomes evil, always, and love perseveres.
