Help Colin Buckland fight for his life

Colin Buckland is a father to four, a grandfather to three and has been a loving husband to my mother for 41 years. During his life he has provided support and care to more people than I can count through his work in the police force, as a pastor of inner city churches and now as the chief executive of an international charity which provides leadership training, consultancy, counselling and resources to charitable organisations, missions and community leaders all over the world.

 My father has worked in 27 countries including Ethiopia, India, Haiti, USA, Ghana, Singapore, Chile and throughout Europe helping develop strong leaders and organisations many of which deal with issues of poverty, health care, mental illness, abuse victims, women’s rights and Christian mission.

His work in the UK has included supporting families with a criminal lifestyle to break that cycle and reintegrate with society. Along with my mother he’s provided life skills training that included cooking, personal cleanliness and marriage skills. He’s worked with homeless people, people suffering with depression and people living in rough housing estates.

Over the years there has been many months where he’s not been paid for his work due to his passion for helping others, even when they cannot afford to financially give back.

Now his life is in danger and he needs your help.

Earlier this year my father was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the rete testis, a very rare form of Cancer with only 44 cases having been documented so far. He was provided chemotherapy by the UK medical system that he was allergic to which resulted in a weakening of his intestines, which ultimately split. Colin was rushed into hospital for an emergency operation that the doctors informed him they weren’t sure he’d live through.

After two operations now my father has been left with lymphedema, swelling and shooting pains and the cancer is still in him.

The UK based treatment is unable to cure my father, only attempt to prolong his time with us.

However there could be a cure

 A specialist doctor in the United States has come up with a treatment that could potentially cure my father. This treatment isn’t available in the UK and due to my fathers work we do not have the funds to get him to the USA and for the treatment. 

The specialist doctor is able to find out what started the cancer and create a medication & supplement regimen that not only kills the cancer cells but also kills off the stems that grow the cells. The doctor has had numerous successes in his ground-breaking procedure even with stage 4 cancer sufferers.

We need your help to raise $65,000 to get my father and mother to the USA and to pay for a 12-week treatment from the specialist himself that could save his life. Please help!
